The main ideas for the story come from own dreams and nightmares; I won't tell which exactly I experienced, because I want it to be a continuous story, not just a bunch of separate ones, but many *actual* dreams were included. It all started from one dream (around 2014/15) that I remembered, and felt so real that I woke up out of stress. Through years, the idea evolved into a scenario (spoiler: look for a woman whose name starts with "K"), then into a song (see At Night short version), next into a video game that I have never finished nor published, and finally into this novel, then my longest song ever based on novel. It all started from a short, single dream, and extended piece by piece, over years became a wide universe inside my imagination. Whole IO2M (and therefore, the original IOTM) is also somehow related with this universe. Work of my life, now I can finally rest.
