The film was made during the launch of the new Lumix S1RII camera. All films and photos were made in Norway, in Tromso and the surrounding area.
Equipment:
Lumix S1RII, Lumix S9;
Lumix lenses:18mm, 35mm, 20-60mm, 70-200mm;
Sigma lenses: 50mm f/1.2, 28-45mm f/1.8;
and Peak Design Outdoor 45L backpack.
After two weeks of work, a few thoughts about my work with the Lumix S1RII. I'm attaching a short film from the first two days of work with the S1RII:
Open Gate 6.4K or 8.1K will definitely be great for many of my assignments, where the client needs horizontal and vertical shots;
44.3MP is just right for the portraits and landscapes that I take and which often end up on exhibition prints;
120fps, although it has a crop, will allow me to switch from the GH6 to slow-motion shots. This crop is not that big, and I only work on full frames;
And it's great to have ProRes on the card, because sometimes I have action with shots for large productions and post-production;
This switch on the left knob is brilliant, which separates the settings for photo and video;
It's great to finally have a closed shutter option that protects the sensor from dirt when changing lenses (Wrench - Other 1 - Shutter Behavior at Power Off - Close);
32Bit float audio recorder.
The display that can be rotated in so many positions is very flexible depending on your needs.
